Tattershall Farm Park massively exceeded my expectations. There is just SO much to do! I arrived at 11:45am with a 7-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy, and I genuinely had to drag them away at 5pm closing time. My only regret is that we didn’t arrive when it opened at 10am, because there is easily enough here to keep children entertained for the entire day. Next time, we won't make the same mistake! We managed to pack an incredible amount into our afternoon. We watched the falconry display, which was excellent – the woman leading it was really interesting and brilliant at engaging the audience. Feeding the animals was a huge hit, but walking the goats was a real highlight. What a brilliant idea! The kids absolutely loved it. The lady running the goat walking was lovely too. You could really tell how much she cared about the animals she looked after, and she was fantastic with the children. She really delighted them by telling them the names of some of the animals around – including pointing out the sheep, Rhubarb and Custard! Little interactions like that made the experience feel particularly special. The kids were fascinated by the exotic animals, and we went back several times to look at them again. They also loved both the indoor and outdoor sand areas, especially the diggers. The soft play was great, the playground was brilliant, and they loved the giant bouncy pillow and the huge inflatable obstacle course. What was also excellent was that for almost every activity there was an under-five version and an over-five version – so thoughtful, and it means no one is left out. There is also a toddler room, which we didn't go into but looked fab, with some very comfy sofas for the grown-ups! There were also so many smaller things dotted around to discover and have a go at – the Secret Garden, giant dominoes, different places where the kids could make music, traditional throwing games and other outdoor games. It felt as though everywhere we went there was something else for them to investigate or play with. The guy running the giant inflatable obstacle course was really thorough and great with the kids, making sure everything was being done properly and safely while still making it fun. And despite being there for more than five hours, we STILL didn’t manage everything! We never even got around to the zip wire or the bigger adventure playground. The biggest hit, though, was probably everything they could drive! They had a go on the electric quad bikes, loved driving the tractors around the outdoor track, then drove more tractors around the indoor soft play area while I enjoyed a coffee. And the pedal go-karts kept them occupied for I don’t even know how long – ages! There was so much for them to get stuck into. One thing that really stood out was how well everything seemed to cope with the number of visitors. It felt busy and had a lovely atmosphere, but we didn’t have to queue for any of the activities or at either café. There always seemed to be something available to do. The staff were another real positive. Everyone we encountered was lovely, friendly and helpful, and the staff in both cafés were particularly nice. Everyone was smiley and welcoming, which makes such a difference to the atmosphere of a family day out. And then, just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, it finished with the foam party! The kids had the BEST time. We hadn’t realised there was going to be a foam party, so hadn’t come prepared, and I thought it was a really nice touch that goggles were available for them to borrow. Another thing I really appreciated is that, once you’re through the entrance, there’s no pressure to spend lots of extra money. So much is included in the admission price, and there is more than enough to keep children entertained all day. With plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic tables, you could easily bring your own lunch, drinks and snacks and have a fantastic full day without spending much more at all. Admittedly, I didn't quite manage that! We paid for the electric quad bike rides, animal food and meerkat food, and also bought lunch and ice creams – but even with those extras, I still thought it was really good value. The café set-up is great too: you can sit outside while the kids play on the nearby playground as you wait for your food, although ours didn’t take long at all. Overall, this was a truly wonderful family day out with something for everyone. There is an incredible amount for children to do, with such a great mixture of animals, activities and play. But what made it particularly lovely was that, alongside all the main attractions, there were so many little things to discover and staff who genuinely seemed to care about making sure families had a great day. We made some amazing memories, the kids had an absolutely fantastic time, and I genuinely couldn’t fault it. Next time, we’ll be there at 10am!Posted on Facebook Joni Madeline SangsterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Facebook. An absolutely lovely day out. We had the BEST time today for my daughters preschool Christmas trip! 😍 Sooo much effort has gone in to making the farm magical for all the visitors (adults too!) it was just so heartwarming! 🥹 Santa was amazing - definitely the real deal! 🎅 Endless amounts of choice when choosing a gift from the North Pole Emporium! 🎁 All of the elves were cheery and really kept the magic alive with all the activities in the North Pole experience! We had lunch in the play barn, everything on the festive menu sounded delicious but we settled on the loaded festive fries which were 10/10! 😋🤤 There's so many cute photo opportunities too! 😁 Would definitely recommend to anyone with young children, this will be an annual trip for us going forward! 🤩 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟Posted on Facebook Donna MarieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Facebook. We went to the fireworks display last night and had a fabulous time. It was well organised with the parking, considering it was dark and A LOT of pushchairs and toddlers around-it felt very safe. The park was illuminated beautifully and felt very magical. There was lots to do. The food was great and fast. There were loads of benches to eat at. The fireworks were impressive as always and so nice that you can hear yourself think while watching them. James the singer set great ambience too.Posted on Facebook Leigh TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Facebook. Just been to the excellent Fireworks display at Tattershall farm park. We’ve been for the past 4 years and was the best yet. Love that every year there’s subtle improvements which make the whole experience better. Food, drinks, entertainment, rides and fireworks were excellent. Worth every penny. Well done Tattershall farm park team and thank you. 👏👏👏
