There really is something for everyone at the Farm. Our Animal Barn is under cover and exploring our animal trail is fun for all ages!
If you’ve never walked a goat, then you haven’t lived!
With such a variety of animals, we often have babies born on the farm.
We work closely with other farmers that also focus on the conservation of rare native or primative breeds of livestock to save ‘non commercial’ breeds from
extinction
Home to Iguanas, LIzards, Chameleons, Snakes, Spiders and Snails the animals in here enjoy a ‘Live Bio Active’ set up. Essentially we create a home for them where UVI, Temperatures and Humidity are carefully controlled to create a mini eco system. Where possible we provide mixed exhibits with mulitiple creatures living together, just as they would in nature
All the birds at our centre are exercised or flown daily.
None of the birds in our care are tethered, instead they are ‘free lofted’ in their aviaries and our keepers engage ‘choice based training’ methods so that all our birds enjoy being in our twice daily flying shows as much as you enjoy watching them.
Watch as our keepers care for our animals, you’ll see them on their way round the farm – feeding and mucking out as they go.
You can’t work in our Animal Care team without being passionate about animals, so please feel free to stop them and ask any questions you may have, they will ALWAY be happy to chat.
We take our commitment to animal welfare really seriously. We hold a zoo licence, and are inspected regularly by our local council.
We work with Chapman Zoo Consultancy. Sarah and Julian visits all the animals on our farm every 12 weeks and help us with all kinds of things including training our team!

As well as unlimited farm park entry. Members enjoy many of our events for free. Where the event has an additional charge, Members rates are discounted. Members also unlock a 10% discount in our gift shop and on food, drinks and ice creams.
